Like its big brother, the Wahoo Fitness Powertrainer KICKR, the Wahoo Bike Trainer KICKR SNAP is a very powerful smart trainer, which should not be mixed up with a beginner model despite its relatively low selling price.
The wheel-on design makes it easy to transform your common street or mountain bike into a powerful indoor Smarttrainer. The Wahoo Bike Trainer KICKR SNAP is made of stable stainless steel and is equipped with a large stand for safe stability on the floor - and your bike can be safely locked for a trustful training. Like the Wahoo bike trainer KICKR, SNAP uses your Smartphone, Tablet or computer to adapt the resistance and to offer a reliable power measurement in order to observe and adapt your intensity.
Wahoo Smart Trainers / bike trainers mainly differ from competitors in the source of resistance - the flywheel. More weight means more saved energy in the flywheel - thus it is almost impossible to exert more power than the flywheel can handle, even for elite cyclists. The maximum resistance of the Wahoo Bike Trainer KICKR SNAP is 1500 Watt (at a speed of 32 km/h).
The Wahoo Bike Trainer KICKR SNAP works with a multitude of Apps for your training: either cycling a virtual track or doing a structured Watt workout. Recommendable, compatible training Apps are, i.e., Wahoo Fitness App, TrainerRoad, Kinomap Trainer, PeriPedal, FulGaz, and so on.
